Some 60 PCOs, volunteers, and interested citizens attended a virtual training session hosted by the KCGOP.

The training was conducted by KCGOP Executive Director Jeff Harvey, WSRP Deputy-Political Director Peyton LaFerla, NRA-ILA field coordinator Jesse Greening, and Darren Littell, a political operative who had previously worked with former U.S. Senator Dave Reichert.

The topics of discussion included the WSRP’s Victory Plan, updates on the activities of the NRA-ILA, and basic ideas related to political organizing strategy.

The meeting was held on the evening of April 6, Tuesday, and was facilitated virtually via Zoom.

The training session was meant to provide more information about political operations to PCOs, volunteers, and persons interested in running as candidates on the Republican ticket.

LaFerla emphasized the need for the last of these groups to consider running for local races such as school board. He stated that the idea behind such a strategy was to build up a ready stable of candidates who could tackle bigger races a few years down the road. The meeting’s business was completed ahead of schedule.
